Oh, my is it already time for another journal post? Well, I was supposed to write one few weeks ago,
but better late than never. ^^
Let's see, it has been three years since I joined DA, and I kinda like to do at least one journal post a year.
At the same time I like to look back how much my style has changed during the years. Well I guess every year I have that "Aargh, my style was weird back then." -feel.
I guess, I am getting happier with my styles and skills, I had lot's free time to draw and test different things, but now that I got a new job I have been very busy. And here I had so many wonderful plans.

Now to the main thing why I am writing this journal: The comic I have been rambling about for at least a year. I am planning finally to work on it actively. My speed is probably 1 or 2 pages a month, but I have to do this no matter what. xD
I have few pages ready, so I will be posting them in sequence, so I can keep a steady pace.
I never thought I would be creating a story, I was always stuck with drawing single pictures without much story in it.
In a way, after many pictures, together they create small fragments of ideas and people have their own view on the characters that appear in the drawings.
For example, Sorbet started as a "test character"  I needed a single character that would be easy to draw, a character I could test with different clothing, poses and expressions. At some point people asked me to name her and people commented their own views of her.
I remember feeling bit bad at some point that I didn't give much though about the characters them selves, I fully focused on drawing things.
At least, now Sorbet has bit story prepared for her and she has a friend she spends time with. xD
Other reason why I wanted to make a comic, is to challenge myself and do something different for my viewers.

Before I forget, thanks to for helping me with this project, she has been helping me as an advisor and other things, like managing and preparing a site for the comic. We name the comic Seal of the spirits: Chains of History.
Also thanks to you all for supporting me, also thanks to those who support me on Patreon, thanks to you I have been able to buy
stuff that supports my art hobbies.

I guess it's time to make a journal post, I do these very rarely... about once or twice a year.
Thank you everyone for the happy birthday wishes! I have been so busy with my work, so I haven't been posting much lately.
Before I got this job, I had so much interesting planned. > <*
After this month, I really need to start posting here more.
Well, having a job always means I can buy lots of stuff that helps me drawing, for example; a new computer and new programs, but I kinda hate how little time I have for drawing. ^^*

I made a Patreon account some time ago. I was surprised that I managed to earn money and thanks to that I managed to
buy Clip studio paint. ^^
I have been thinking to put more interesting stuff on Patreon, but I want all of my works and creations available to view for free, even if I would do tutorials or more special stuff.
For me, doing art is fun and it is great to share it with everyone. It just feels odd if money is involved, even though extra money is needed during these dark times. XD

I guess my works here revolve around Sorbet and Vanille. I guess my next work is about them again. ^^
Those two are the best characters to draw when drawing two characters together. For some reason I just want to see them together in a picture. :3
Also I need to start that comic soon, but I just don't know where would the story begin.
I have planned to create many other characters in the story, so I should try drawing different types of characters too.

Anyway, thank you very much for the support here, Patreon and/or other places where I post my works. It is thanks to you that I got this far and I will do my best to draw interesting things. ^^

Where should I begin...

First of all, thank you for all the birthday wishes and gifts. It made me smile for an entire day.
It's has been almost two years since I started to make digital art and joined Deviantart. I never thought I would have an artistic hobby like this and what I really didn't expect was having so many followers here and other websites in short time.
I think Kemonomimis was perfect choice as a theme for my works. I always had the feeling that people like cute thinks and for me animal eared girls equals cuteness. What makes the character even more cuter? Cute costumes! Bonus points if the costume has frills.

It is also thanks to you all that these characters I have been drawing has sprung to life. ^^ I would never thought that person like me would have a pink haired little wolf girl named Sorbet as a mascot in art websites.
Now what is left is to give rest of the characters names and little bit story.
I do plan to draw comics... or manga in the future when I am little bit more confident in my drawing skills. I am proud of my coloring skills, but I still need lot of practice with anatomy, difficult poses and expressions.

Woops! I managed to write a wall of text... Now this looks like one of those boring speeches... > <
*Ahem* In short: Thank you very much everyone for supporting me and I will be relying on your support. I would hug you all if I could.
I will do my best to improve in drawing and make more interesting stuff in the future. ^^
